BSN FOR PHYSICIANS

In response to the high demand from foreign physicians, Hispanic Nurse Solutions adds another (NLN) certified university to be able to accommodate them for the BSN program which will be offered March of every year. (The University only accepts applications for this program through Hispanic Nurse Solutions)

The path to seek a BSN in nursing is available by studying with an accredited university who will prepare and graduate you with a BSN in approximately 24 months (depending in the student ™ situation) it is a combined program 1-  the didactic part is online and 2- the clinical part  is  in Puerto Rico so, the student should expect to travel to Puerto Rico for extended periods of time (at least twice), after the graduation you are able to  challenge the NCLEX® exam, if successfully attained, you then obtain your R.N license (with a BSN) The BSN in nursing allows you to practice in any state of the American union (provided you approve the NCLEX) the BSN enables you to reach management positions,  it also opens  the path to continue on towards a Nurse Practitioner designation (Master). If you choose to pursue it.

FOR APPLICANTS to BSN, the candidate will undergo the normal admission process to be admitted, every student is an individual. ADMISSION IS NOT GUARANTED. The university will not admit GPA’s lower than 2.5.

HOW TO APPLY:

• Download HNS application to BSN

• Download form W-9 fill it out, sign it, and attach a copy of your Social security
• Download Form I-9 fills it out, sign it, and attach a copy of your immigration document even if you are an American born, permanent resident. Or are in an asylum parole.  (these forms are a must cannot be omitted)
  
• Credential Evaluation of your certificates from the university you graduated from must come directly from the accrediting agency which must be certified by NACES to Hispanic Nurse Solutions at the address shown at the bottom of this page.
• A photocopy of your Official original documents in Spanish must be done by a notary public who certifies that he/she has made those photocopies from original documents; he/she signs and stamps the statement.
  
• Write an essay “Why do you want to become a nurse”. Computer font size 10’ minimum 3-5 paragraphs.
• Resume.
  
• 2 recommendation letters 1 from a present employer is one of the best, 2- it may be from colleagues who can attest to your character .If you are new t into the country and don’t know anyone a good conduct police report is accepted.

IMPORTANT Credential evaluation must be mailed directly to Hispanic Nurse Solutions by the Evaluating agency. CREDENTIALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FROM THE APPLICANT.
