MD to RN Program

This program has been designed by Hispanic Nurse Solutions.com ® in collaboration with a Puerto Rican University, the administration of education lies entirely with the university. The programs are designed to assist the foreign medical and nurse graduate legally residing in United States whom, for diverse circumstances have been unable to pursue their corresponding licenses now , they can become nurses and sit for their NCLEX exam.

To become an R.N. the first step is to become part of an accredited nursing program offered by an University the purpose is of eventually obtain a BSN however, the applicant may opt to work first obtain their ADN diploma within an approximately 9 months plus 9 weeks in Puerto Rico to become eligible for the NCLEX-RN exam then continuing to their BSN.

Upon completion, having successfully obtained the ADN diploma the new graduate is entitled to apply to take the NCLEX-RN exam in the state where he/she plans to practice.

The new graduate may choose to seek the prep courses run by HNS ® to insure a successful NCLEX-RN exam.

First Step to apply:

Log on www.hispanicnursesolutions.com

  • Download the application MD to RN
  • Download form W-9 sign it and attach a copy of your social security card to it.
  • Download form I-9 sign and attach a copy of your Immigration document
    (Whether it is: American born, Citizen, Permanent resident or, asylum)
  • Write a short statement of why you want to become a nurse
  • Curriculum C.V.
  • 2 letters of recommendation
  • Present your documents neatly organized and attach any additional course you might have done post graduation such as computers, English, Castilian Lit., anything that might help the university to give you credit for.

This complete package must be mailed to Hispanic Nurse Solutions.

Second Step

Official transcripts must be received entity to entity (the university does not Accept documents from the applicant).


Every applicant must request to the entity that has translated and certified their university transcripts (here in U.S.) To send a copy of such certification; course by course directly to Hispanic Nurse Solutions.

If the certification of your transcripts has not been made yet, you must have them done by an approved organization of foreign credentialing evaluators. Sample suggestion of three entities, (yet, not limited to only those) www.jsilny.com, www.wes.com & nestordominguez1@bellsouth.net 1-305-279-8833

The application package must be mailed with a money order of $ 350.00 payable to SYLU Enterprises (The collection company) personal checks are not accepted and will be returned

Application fee is not refundable;
Mail the complete package to: Hispanic Nurse Solutions 9770 S. Military Trail # 236 Boynton Beach, Fl 33436

When your file is complete will be send to the university in Puerto Rico, the university will re-credentialed your file. When the process is completed a welcoming letter and guidelines to register will be mailed to you directly from the university.
